Snowboard manufacturers manage employees across various parts of the design, production, and marketing sectors of the business. They have to audit production systems, and manage sales and logistics.
Responsibilities: Snowboard manufacturers are responsible for taking a raw wood products and turning them into snow board and ski end products. They examine finished workpieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, and examine raw woodstock for defects and to ensure conformity to size and other specification standards. Snowboard manufacturers also manage the inventory of products and materials to fill orders. Additionally, they communicate with customers based on design features and meet specifications for the customer. Manufacturers should keep up to date with current industry trends to benefit their business.
