job description and primary responsibilities
Maintenance Workers are tasked with keeping their facilities running smoothly. To do this, these people must be a "jack of all trades." Fixing and maintaining many types of equipment is the biggest part of these employees' jobs.
Responsibilities: Maintenance Workers are responsible for making sure their facilities are in working order. They need to know what condition all of the equipment and machinery is in, have an inventory of spare parts, and know when to start preventive maintenance and what to do when reactive maintenance is necessary. Maintence Workers are also responsible for knowing how to assemble and disassemble machinery in their facilities.
