JOB DESCRIPTION & PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
​Hay Farmers oversee all aspects of a hay farm.  They are responsible for managing the planting, maintenance, harvest, storage, and distribution of all hay products.  They must be able to manage people, work with large equipment, and have crop knowledge. 
Responsibilities: ​Hay Farmers are responsible for planting crops, managing the growth, and the maintenance of all fields, staying in compliance of all environmental regulations. They fix and maintain all equipment to be able to plant and harvest all crops.  They must communicate with employees about cutting, baling, stocking, and storing.  They also are in charge of recruiting hay customers – managing deliveries, pick ups, billing, and providing consistent supply throughout the year.
