Job Description & Primary Responsibilities:
General Foreman's are vital to daily operations of a meat processing plant. Examples of roles include preparing meat to be cooked, palletizing boxed product, administration work, using scanners and computers to track product, and verifying quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Trimming to remove fat, hide, defects or contamination from muscle and tissues
Supporting roles in the processing of beef
General use of a knife or other tools
Weighing, labeling, bagging, packing and boxing finished product
