Job Description & Primary Responsibilities:
Greenhouse Managers run the daily operations of a greenhouse or nursery. They may work with the public or in business-to-business arrangements and they must be knowledgeable about the stages of plant life and diseases that may occur. Responsibilities: Greenhouse Managers are responsible for overseeing plant inventory, planning when to plant each species, supervising greenhouse workers, harvesting plants, recommending fertilizers and potting mediums, managing greenhouse equipment and computer controls, maintaining breeding records, forecasting demand to determine plant populations, and ensuring that operation is in line with environmental regulations

Science (Botany, Biology, Horticulture)
Education/Training:
Associate's Degree in Horticulture
Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture recommended
