Job Description & Primary Responsibilities:

Agricultural Program Managers serve the industry by handling farm assessments to identify farmers concerns and assist farmers with finding and gaining access to local, state, or federal funding to meet project needs.

Responsibilities: Agricultural Program Manager​s are responsible for securing funding to help farmers meet their project goals. They are also responsible for helping to assess operations to identify needs to improve management or farm operations. Program managers also conduct soil tests and field research. Managers will also communicate with funding agencies and partners to determine funding budgets and proposals. They also must ensure that project plans meet deadlines and coordinate with engineers working along with the projects.

Education/Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Resource Management, Project Management, or related field.
