Job Description & Primary Responsibilities:
Agricultural Sales Representatives specialize in agricultural equipment, agricultural systems, or precision agriculture technology optimize retail sales of their products to an assigned territory.
Responsibilities: Agricultural Sales Representatives are responsible for overseeing retail sales and promotion of products and relationship building, conducting sales calls and presentations, making recommendations to customers, monitoring competitive activities, implementing marketing tools and maintaining public relations through customer education and promotion of new products and services, developing sales territory for future growth, managing inventory of new and used equipment and parts, maintaining relationships within dealer guidelines and providing after-sales product follow-ups, as well as equipment operations support, attending industry trade shows and events to represent products and communicate with customers in-person, coordinating with billing or accounting staff to ensure accurate invoicing, and monitoring market conditions and changes.
